01. Petition for Further Food Diversity
As the business expanded, it became evident that customers, who stayed for extended periods, desired a wider range of food options. While the business initially gained recognition for serving local coffee beans from various regions in Indonesia, it was the food offerings that enticed customers to return multiple times a week.
Whats’s Next?
Ngopi Di Sawah is introducing Toko Kueh, a traditional dessert shop that fulfils customers'
requests by offering a wide variety of nostalgic sweets from different regions of the archipelago.
'Toko Kueh' translates to Cake Shop, with the word written in the traditional spelling of the Indonesian language.
Drawing inspiration from the traditional desserts to be sold in Toko Kueh,
I have developed a design style that effectively showcases the products.
02. Visual Design for Toko Kueh
I decided to use block colouring as the product itself already possesses rich textures and colour.
01/ Colour
In response to the traditional nature of the business, I opted to simplify everything to its core typography. Utilising Adobe Illustrator and ProCreate, I crafted all the texts with handwritten script.
